Hi! I'm Carolyn

I'm an NASM-certified personal trainer with 13 years of experience, degrees in Nutrition and Psychology, and a background in health & fitness research.

 

At this stage in my career, I value strength, mobility, and balance over chiseled abs, and functional fitness over flashy trends. My philosophy is simple: fitness should make you feel strong, help you move with ease, and leave you feeling amazing—because that’s what really matters. And who knows, you may even develop those chiseled abs along the way.

How it works

Sign up and share some info about you

As soon as you sign up you'll be asked to answer some questions about your goals, lifestyle, health history, preferences, and injuries.

Complete a fitness assessment

Based on your questionnaire, I'll put together an appropriate fitness assessment for you. You can choose to complete the assessment completely on your own through the app/online, or you can schedule a live virtual assessment with me.

3
Start your program

Based on the results of your assessment and all the info from your questionnaire, I'll design a complete fitness plan just for you. When your program is ready it will be delivered to your Carolyn Trains account, which you can access from the app or the web portal.

How much time will I need to dedicate each week?

That’s entirely up to you! I’ll design your plan to fit your schedule. Ideally you'll have at least two blocks of 45 minutes available per week. But we can work with less, and we can certainly work with more!
 

 


Traditional personal training with an experienced trainer costs over $1,200/month for three sessions a week. With the Signature Plan, you get all the benefits of personal training (fully customized workouts, form checks for proper technique, unlimited support, and one-on-one coaching) for just $350/month. That's a savings of $850 per month, or 71%.

(If you nab one of the limited time offer spots at $300/month for the first three months, that's a savings of $900 per month, or 75%!)




Absolutely! I love working with beginners. We'll start with a very gentle assessment to figure out where you're at right now, and I'll design a program that is perfectly suited for you and you alone. We’ll start slow and progress at a pace that works for you.




Your workouts will be designed exclusively for you, so will be based on the exact equipment you have available—whether it’s a full gym setup, a few dumbbells, or just your body weight. You can also mix n' match (one day at the gym, one day using dumbbells only at home, and one day with no equipment at the park, etc.)


 


 

For each exercise in your workouts, you can use the in-app camera to record yourself doing a few reps. Make sure I can see all of you! Then I'll give you feedback for every video you submit.




Your plan will be fully tailored to your needs, including any modifications to keep your workouts safe and effective. I’ll work with you to create a program that supports your recovery or works around limitations.



 

Live virtual sessions aren’t included but can be added anytime. Some clients book one to get immediate feedback on new exercises, but it’s totally optional! The Signature Plan already includes unlimited form checks via video submissions and private messaging, with responses typically within a day (exweekends may take longer).

​You can cancel your subscription directly on your account/billing portal. Just follow THIS LINK to manage your subscription. Once you cancel you'll still have all the benefits of the Signature Plan until the end of your current billing cycle.
